I uploaded a game i made for my computer science 1 final called castle walk. I thought it would be a good choice because it wasn't completely finished so that left parts of the project open for development. With that in mind i decided the MIT licence would be appropriate. Allowing people to make their own changes and updates to the game makes sense, but requiring them to upload every change didn't. There's a lot of detail that could be changed that might be user specific, like the pace of the character or button mapping, that didn't necesarrily have to be shared with the whole community. And with several (rather important) assets being left unfinished, it's possible that one branch might diverge far enough that, while still being the same game, could be considered seperate, which is why I wouldn't mind if it would be used in closed source scenarios.
